About Me

I grew up fascinated by computers and the darker side of how they work — how systems fail, how people exploit them, and what it takes to defend against that. That curiosity sharpened through sixth form and eventually pointed me toward Networks & Cyber Security at Northumbria University, where I'm currently in my first year.

I'm also involved in the Empowering Girls through Ethical Hacking outreach programme run through Northumbria University — teaching KS4 students the fundamentals of offensive security, which has been one of the more challenging and rewarding things I've done.

I don't have a rigid five-year plan. Penetration testing is where my interest sits right now, but I'm deliberately keeping my options open while I'm early in. What I do know is I want to build a strong technical foundation and get good at the craft before I narrow it down.

Outside of screens I try to stay as far from a desk as possible. I boulder and surf when I can — I like being outdoors and away from a desk. When I'm not doing that I play bass and I'm learning to produce music, which gives me an outlet for a different kind of creativity.
